Gara Leann Orme, 64 Chandler, AZ passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at her home in Chandler, AZ. Gara was born January 8, 1959 in Nevada, MO, to Gail Wysong. Gara married the love of her life, Gilbert Orme, July 31, 2004.
Gara graduated from Raytown High School. Moved to Arizona. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Chandler, AZ. She obtained her CDL license and drove most recently for Rhino Contracting of Phoenix, AZ. Retiring from there last year, 2022.
Gara is survived by her husband Gilbert of the home; brother, Jan Wysong (Judy) Medesto, CA; aunt, Kay Von Holten (Darrell) Arlington, TX; uncle, Clifford Whitworth (Jean) Moundville, MO; aunt, Susan McKenzie, Nevada, MO; 2 nieces, Julie, and Jennifer; and many, many cousins which will truly miss her. Also, a special friend, Norma Griggs Cory, Nevada, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob & Gail Wysong; grandparents, Omer & Bobbie Whitworth, Mabel & Cecil McKenzie; her name sakes, uncles, Gary Whitworth, Dennis Leroy McKenzie, aunt, Patsy Ann Campbell (John); uncle, Robert Whitworth.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Newton Burial Park in Nevada with Pastor Roger Beach officiating.
