Anthony Jay Wright

Anthony Jay Wright, 43, passed away at his home in Springfield, MO on April 8, 2019.  Anthony was born November 3, 1975 to Jay W. and Donna (Barnes) Wright.

     Anthony attended school in El Dorado Springs, MO graduating with the Class of 1994.  Following high school he joined the Missouri Army National Guard. He also worked in the food industry for over 20 years as a line cook.

     Anthony is survived by his father, Jay Wright, Joplin, MO; three brothers, Jacob Wright, Nevada, MO, Brian Dillon (Sarah), Springfield, MO, Douglas Morrison (Stephanie), Columbus, OH; five nieces; three nephews; other relatives and many friends who will miss him. He also leaves behind Nitro, an old black Labrador who was his long-time close companion.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Ann (Barnes) Ellis; and one sister, Michelle Lynn Wright.

     Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 12-1:00 prior to the service.
