Betty Reed Obituary

Betty Jean Reed, 88, Nevada, MO passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Nevada Nursing and Rehab in Nevada. Betty was born March 8, 1930 in Coffeyville, KS to John Delbert and Violet Ellen (Secrest) Reed.

Betty was raised in Coffeyville and she attended school there. Betty was a member of the First Christian Church in Coffeyville. She has lived in Nevada most of her adult life.

Survivors include one sister, Doris D. (Reed) Gowen; three nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Eastlawn Cemetery in Springfield, MO.
