Irpeel Benjamin Williams

     Irpeel Benjamin “Ben” Williams, 92, Nevada, MO passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at his home in Nevada, MO.  Ben was born June 20, 1925 in Morrilton, AR to Joseph Benjamin and Nora Frances (Lockhart) Williams.  He was united in marriage to Lucybelle Compton on June 8, 1986 in Greenfield, MO and she survives of the home.

     Ben was raised in the Morrilton, AR area and graduated from Morrilton High School in 1944.  He farmed in Arkansas for a number of years and then lived and worked in Tulsa, OK for four years at Douglas Aircraft. He later worked at Proctor and Gamble in Kansas City, KS for 26 years until his retirement in 1987.   He moved to Nevada after his retirement where he has continued to reside.

     Survivors include his wife, Lucybelle; Steve Campbell, son, and his wife Yvonne, St. Louis, MO; Christine Campbell, daughter, North Kansas City, MO; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; Ravenel Wright, sister, Springfield, AR; Marguerite Williams, sister-in-law, Independence, MO; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one son, John Campbell; one daughter, Mary Meister; one brother Threldon Williams; and one sister Marylis Ridling and her husband Burl.
