Jasmin Pettibon, 19, Nevada, MO passed away suddenly on Monday, February 18, 2019 in Nevada. Jasmin was born July 1, 1999 in Nevada, the daughter of James Dean and Angela L. (Morrell) Pettibon who were married on February 14, 1998.
Jasmin attended Nevada High School where she was active in the FFA and helped as a teacher’s aid. She was a social media geek who loved music, outdoors, nature and fishing. Jasmin had a special love for family, friends, and animals. She enjoyed trying to fix things that were abandoned. She has a protective spirit, a heart of gold, and loved being with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father on May 7, 2013. And is survived by her mother, Angela Pettibon, Richards; maternal grandmother, Marie Morrell, Nevada; maternal grandfather, Steve Morrell, Fulton, KS; brother, Michael Pettibon, Compton Junction; sisters Emily, and Mya Pettibon, Nevada; godmother, Catherine Cox, Nevada and godfather, Gary Heard, Jr.; aunts, uncles, extended family, and special friends.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Mike Lashley officiating. Jasmin will be laid to rest next to her father in Deerfield Cemetery at a later time. The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
