Kenya Lynn Storm, 58, of Nevada passed away Friday, June 7, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, following a sudden illness.
Kenya was born May 31, 1961 in Wurzburg, Germany, the daughter of Paul “Pete” and Diane (Ireland) Moffatt. She married Scott Storm twenty-one years ago. The couple lived in Lake Viking for ten years, and then moved to the family farm in Nevada about sixteen years ago. Kenya was a massage therapist and massage therapy teacher at City Point Beauty Academy in Webb City. Kenya was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She lived a life of service for her family and her work clientele. She was a beekeeper, gardener and enjoyed living the farm life. She was a member of the Elks Lodge and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Kenya was preceded in death by her mother and is survived by her husband Scott of the home, children; Jacob Faibian (Josie) Nevada, Allison Storm, Plattsburg, MO, and Kylie Storm, Plattsburg, MO; one grandchild, Bennett Faibian,; nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 noon on Saturday June 15, 2019 at the Elks Lodge in Nevada, MO. Friends and family are welcome to come and celebrate Kenya’s life.
