Margaret Marie (Fairbank) Lasater

     Margaret Marie (Peggy) (Fairbank) Lasater, 97, Nevada, MO, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada. Peggy was born May 12, 1922 in St. Joseph, MO to Frank C. and Margaret M. (Herman) Fairbank.  

     Peggy graduated from North Kansas City Missouri High School in 1940.  Following high school she was married to William W. Ross and to this union two children were born: William T. Ross and Mary Ellen (Ross) Hammontree. She later married Luey Lasater on October 21, 1977 and her preceded her in death in 2009.

     Peggy was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents, one brother, Frank C. Fairbank, Jr.; her twin sister, Elizabeth Ann Hensley; and a granddaughter.  Survivors include her children, four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

     The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. No services are planned and a private burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at East Slope Cemetery in Riverside, MO.
