Milford Dean Young

     Milford “Dean” Young, 75, formerly of Nevada, MO passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Medicalodges of Butler.  Dean was born August 2, 1943 to Milford M. and Mildred Ione (Williams) Young.

     Milford graduated from Strafford High School Class of 1962.  Following high school he worked at O’Sullivan Industries in Lamar for 10 years. He was then a truck driver, hauling hay to dairy’s throughout Missouri and Texas in the wintertime. Dean resided for a time in Jerico Springs, MO, then Nevada for 10 years, and most recently Butler for 10 years.

     He is survived by one adopted son, John L. Young, Ozark MO; and one sister, Nancy Quick, Nevada, MO. 

     Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Newton Burial Park in Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
