Nina Phillips Obituary

Nina Phillips, 95, formerly of Harwood, MO passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Point Lookout Nursing Home in Hollister, MO. Nina was born October 10, 1924 in Clarksdale, MS.

During WWII she was united in marriage to Grover Phillips of Walker, MO and moved to a farm near Harwood, MO in 1950. She loved living and working on the farm, enjoyed driving the tractor for planting and haying, the many animals, and growing flowers.

She is survived by one daughter, one brother, nephews and nieces.

Memorials are suggested to the local Animal Shelter or Brain Cancer Research c/o Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, MO.

Private interment was held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Newton Burial Park in Nevada.
