Rosella A. (Rapp) Austin

        Rosella A. Austin, 79, Nevada, MO passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at her home in Nevada. Rosella was born on December 15, 1939 in Milo, MO to Daniel Orville and Vivian Rosella (Pearcy) Rapp. In 1959 she was united in marriage to Henry J. Austin in Nevada, MO and together they celebrated 60 years together.

     Rosella was raised in the Milo area.  She attended school in Armourdale, KS before returning to Nevada in 1951.  She and Henry moved to Wyoming where they lived for 36 years before coming back to Nevada in 2001.  Rosella enjoyed dinning out at the 54 Café for many years.

     She is survived by her husband Henry, of the home; four children, Cindy Lange, Rock Springs, WY, Russell Austin and his wife Kathy, Laramie, WY,  Rhonda Brannan and her husband Robert, Rock Springs, WY, Timothy Austin, Nevada, MO; nine grandchildren, Jacob, Dustin, Ian, Laurel, Jaimie, Jennifer, Chester, Ebony, Andrew;  11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Linda Hartline, and Janice Ware; and one brother, Butch Rapp.  

     Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Church of Christ in Nevada with Bro. Dick Harris officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Walker. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
