Steve Campbell Obituary

Steven Leon Campbell, 76, formerly of Nevada, MO, quietly departed this life on Friday, December 07, 2018 at his home in Florissant, MO. He was born September 6, 1942 in Pryor, OK to Walter Lee and Lucybelle (Compton) Campbell. He was united in holy matrimony to Yvonne Phillips on September 2, 1960 and this union was blessed with one child, Steve Kelley Campbell.

Steve was raised on a farm east of Nevada and graduated in the Nevada High School Class of 1960.

Steve’s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his survivors, his wife, Yvonne of the home; son, Kelley and his wife Andrea, Afton, MO; grandson Hunter Campbell, Afton, MO; granddaughter Paige Scanlon and her husband Brian, Union, MO; great-grandchildren Callahan and Rogan Scanlon, Union, MO; sister, Christine Campbell, Kansas City, KS; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter; his mother, Lucybelle and her husband Ben Williams; his sister and brother, Mary and John.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Interment will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery, Nevada, MO.
