Andra Kay Diamond

Andra Kay Diamond (born September 9, 1951) passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 74. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cody Diamond; her brother, Andrew L. Breshears Jr.; and her granddaughter, Lily Renee James.

She leaves behind her son, Steven D. Diamond, and his wife, Dana Diamond; their children, Layne Christopher Diamond and Stephanie Danielle James; and her husband, Adam James, along with their children, Aidyn Diamond and Harley James.

She is also survived by her youngest son, Christopher Diamond, and his wife, Tabitha Diamond, and their family: Megan Hendrix and her daughter, Greysin; Tyler Jackson and his partner, Emily, and their daughter, Scarlet; Kiersten Diamond and her partner, Broc, and their children, Jax, Bryson, and Bristol; and Krysalea Diamond and her partner, Bryce.

Kay, as she was known to her family and friends, was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. More than that, she opened her heart to anyone who needed a mother's guidance, a grandmother's wisdom, or simply a caring friend. She loved her family deeply and cherished each and every friendship she made throughout her life.

As much as she loved people, Kay loved animals. She never hesitated to provide a home, a meal, or a helping hand to a pet in need. Her compassion extended freely to both people and animals alike.

Fiercely independent by nature, Kay was always far more willing to offer help than to accept it. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering concern for those around her left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

The world has lost a truly remarkable woman, but her love, strength, and example will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Heaven has gained a new angel unlike any other.    

Visitation will be on Friday June 26, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Ferry Funeral Home.
