Betty Ann Pisciotta, 86, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at her home in rural Vernon County, MO. Betty was born September 24, 1933 to Hiner and Hazel Smith. She married Vincent Pisciotta, Jr. in Kansas City, MO and he preceded her in death.
Betty was raised in Nevada and moved to Kansas City where she attended school. She lived most of her married life in Kanas City and retired to Vernon County in the mid 1970’s. She loved her animals, cooking, going to the Casino and eating out with her friends.
Survivors include one son; Vincent A Pisciotta, III (Debbie), Raytown, MO; two grandchildren, Amber Schmidt (Matt), Nevada, and Brach Pisciotta (Courtney), Overland Park, KS; four great-grandchildren, Cayden Campbell, Morgan Campbell, Harper Pisciotta, Bowen Pisciotta; and one great-great-grandson, Rhett Campbell. In addition to her husband Vincent, she was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony Pisciotta and Rita; and a brother, Gerald Eaton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Rev. Sharon Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery in Raytown, MO. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
