Charles Everett Gose

     Charles (Chuck) Everett Gose, 85, Nevada, passed away, surrounded by family on Saturday, November 27, 2021.  Charles was born April 20, 1936 in Milo, MO to Cecil Edgar and Viola May (McKay) Gose. On July 17, 1954, he married his high school sweetheart, Jerry Sue Williams in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

     Chuck grew up in Milo, MO and graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1954. He was an over the road truck driver before turning to construction work closer to home. Then worked at 3M in Nevada and retired from there after 20 years of service.  After retirement, Chuck and Sue spent several years traveling before returning to the Nevada area.  He was an avid hunter and went on many hunting expeditions, hunting a variety of game.  He always had a story to tell and loved to make people laugh.

     Survivors include three children, Charles M. Gose, Hermitage, MO, Curtis Gose and wife, Kathy, Nevada, Susan Griffith and her husband, Scott, Arlington, VA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters from Lamar, MO, MaryAnn Krehbiel and husband, Howard, Carol Murray and husband, Tom, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, an infant daughter, Jerry Charlene Gose, one daughter-in-law, Regina Gose, and his brother, Raymond Gose.

     A graveside service will be held at a later time.
