Christopher Cassidy

     Christopher James Cassidy, 15, of Sheldon, MO, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.  Christopher was born on April 12, 2011, in Kansas City, MO, to Christopher and Cassandra (Spoeery) Cassidy.

     Christopher was raised in Sheldon, MO and attended Sheldon High School through his freshman year.  He was a member of the Science Club and served on the Student Council at SHS.    He loved the outdoors, had a love for animals, and was known as a good story-teller.  Christopher was a member of the Living Hope Church of the Nazarene in Lamar, MO.

     Christopher is survived by his parents, Chris and Casey Cassidy, of the home; a sister, Bella Cassidy, of the home; a grandmother, Audrey Cassidy, of the home; and an uncle, Joe Cassidy, Grandview, MO.

     A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Living Hope Church of the Nazarene, Lamar, MO.  Those who wish may contribute to the family in Christopher’s memory in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO.
