Daniel Huston Hamm, March 10, 1966 – February 12, 2025
Daniel Huston Hamm passed away at his home on February 12, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on March 10, 1966, he was a quiet man who faced many battles in life but remained steadfast in his love for his country and his faith in God.
Dan proudly served in the U.S. Army and carried that pride throughout his life. He was a man of many talents, known for his craftsmanship in carpentry and his artistic abilities. He recently relocated to Fort Scott, Kansas, after spending the last 10 years in Colorado with his former wife, Tami Monday.
He is survived by his three children: Huston Hamm and wife Kaitlin, Erica Clark and husband Drew, and Emily Seitz and husband Jon. He was a grandfather to seven grandchildren: Bryson, Laurali, Camryn, William, Johnathan, Jackson, and Cooper. He also leaves behind his brothers: Donald M. Hamm (Lori), Andrew Hamm, and Jeremiah Hamm (Leslie).
Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Martin “Marty” Hamm, and his mother, Shirley Brinkman-Fairchild.
His family will remember him as a skilled craftsman, an artist, a patriot, and a man who, despite his struggles, loved God.
A private service will be held at a later date.
