Danna Elizabeth Brooks

      Danna Elizabeth Brooks, 62, Nevada, MO, passed away on February 1, 2025 at her home in Nevada. Danna was born December 15, 1962 in Lamar, MO to Ernest E. and Carol Jean (Waitley) Weeks. 

     Danna was raised in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1981. Following high school, she attended college and obtained a degree in healthcare as a Respiratory Therapist.  Danna was employed by Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada for 30 years and then worked at Cedar County Memorial Hospital in El Dorado Springs for an additional 2 years until her recent retirement.

     Survivors include two sons: Chase Brooks (Brittany), Rogue River, OR, and Gage Brooks (Christan), Ft. Scott, KS; six grandchildren, Keith Brooks, Robin Brooks, Haddlen Brooks, Madalynn Brooks, Ashton Brooks, and Jazlynne Brooks; mother, Carol Weeks; two brothers, Jeff Weeks (Darinda), Nevada, and Steven Weeks (Donna), Valdez, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest, and her grandparents.

     Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Dr. Kevin Daugherty officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
