Daren Lee Maynard, age 49, of Nevada, MO passed away at his home Sunday, November 21, 2021, after a long illness. He was born February 5, 1972, in Kettering, England to Malcolm Douglas and Elizabeth Joyce (Price) Freeman.
Darren was a high school graduate, and married Carla Jean (Morris) Maynard on June 3, 2018, in Nevada, MO. He was a Christian and had worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken and Domino’s Pizza. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, mini golf, playing darts and playing pool.
Darren leaves behind his wife Carla Maynard; a stepson, Cody Leeker, Nevada, MO; a stepdaughter, Courtney Leeker, Miramar, CA; his mother Elizabeth Joyce Maynard; twin sisters, Tracy Guy and Karen Maynard; a brother, John Maynard; a niece, Zoe Guy and a nephew Danny Guy. He was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Maynard, an infant brother, Mark Freeman, and an infant sister, Sarah Freeman.
There will be a private family service.
