Dolores Rita Bronaugh

     Dolores Rita Bronaugh, 94, Nevada, MO, passed from this life on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at her home in Nevada. Dolores was born February 18, 1930 in Waterbury, CT to Arthur Emil and Antoinette (Hamel) Ouellette. She was united in marriage to Wayne Bronaugh on July 24, 1948 in California and he preceded her in death after 51 years together. She married Charles Hurst on September 5, 2008 in Nevada and following 10 years together he also preceded her in death.

     Dolores was a member of the First Christian Church in Nevada. She worked at the Nevada City Hospital for many years as a mail carrier until her retirement at the age of 80. Dolores enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, and spending time with her family.

     Survivors include her children: Donald Bronaugh, Jr., Nevada, Gary Bronaugh (Bonnie), Arizona, Susan Herring, Nevada, and Mark Bronaugh (Teresa), Nevada; grandchildren, Tanya Wilson (Tim), Nevada, Ashley Crump, Wellsville, KS, Sabrina Bronaugh, California, Nikki Poulin (Daniel), Arizona, Paul Goette, California, and Diana Bronaugh, Tennessee, 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Antoinette Gould, Show Low, AZ, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband Wayne and husband Charles, she was preceded in death by three siblings, George Ouellette (Pauline), Bob Ouellette (Cinci), and Irene Engdahl (David).

     Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Newton Burial Park in Nevada with Pastor Bill Platt officiating. Friends may call now and until 9:30 a.m. on Monday at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
