Doris Ann (Rimmer) Fairall

     Doris Ann Fairall, 71, Parsons, KS (formerly of Nevada) passed away while surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Freeman West in Joplin, MO following a lengthy illness. Doris was born December 6, 1948 in Nevada, MO to Harry “Bus” W. and Helen R. (Baker) Rimmer. She was united in marriage to Jerry Fairall on August 11, 1968 in Grandview, MO and he survives of the home.

     Doris grew up and attended school in Nevada, MO. She graduated from Grandview High School Class of 1966. Following high school she worked as a bookkeeper for several companies, and later worked as an electrical draftsman for several years.  She lived in Kansas City, MO for a number of years, the Orange County area of California, and for the past six years has resided in Parsons, KS.

     In addition to her husband Jerry of the home, she is survived by three children; Barb Noble (Shawn), Colorado Springs, CO, Jerry Fairall, Jr. (Michele), Pasadena, CA, and Angela Franco (Vanderley), Kansas City, MO; 10 grandchildren, Kristen Noble, Cameron Noble, Dillon Noble, Mina Fairall, Tyler Fairall, Donovin Franco, Evanny Franco, Isaiah Franco, Raeanna Franco, Maelynn Franco; two great-grandchildren, Selene and Nanaki Franco; two sisters, Barbara Belcher (Darrell), Oswego, KS, and Patty Epps (John), Warrensburg, MO; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.  Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park in Nevada.   The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service.
