Douglas Starbuck, Sr.

     Douglas Austin Starbuck, Sr., age 60, passed away on December 3rd, 2024, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.  Doug was born May 17, 1964, in Nevada, MO to Charles and Fern (Green) Starbuck.

     Douglas is survived by his sons, Doug Starbuck, Jr. (Nickie), Baxter Springs, KS and Brandon Lee Starbuck, Dodge City, KS;  brothers Gary Starbuck (Mindy), Sheldon, MO, Richard Starbuck and Clayton Starbuck, both of Nevada, MO, and David Starbuck, Baird TX; sisters, Carol Farmer, Nevada MO and Sharon Seymour, Joplin, MO; grandkids, Kris Grant, Kassandra and Anthony Martin, Kendall Grant, Cynthia and Ethan Sease, McCayla and Austin Starbuck, Rachel Powell, Nick Cheslic, Ethan Page, and Tyler Jackson; and great-grandkids, Max, Oliver, Lukah, Braxton, Teagen, Oakly, Maeviss, Ainzley, Axl, Peyton, Yuri, and Ryan. Douglas was preceded in death by his parents; lifelong friend, Cynthia Caviness; two daughters, Loucinda Grant and Crystal Starbuck; grandchildren, Paul and Camilla Bazil; sister, Kristi Cox; and nephew, Christopher Starbuck.

     Funeral services will be at 11:00a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO.  The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00a.m. Saturday at Ferry Funeral Home.
