Elmo Leroy Pilcher, Jr.

     Elmo Leroy Pilcher, Jr., 63, Milo, MO passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. Leroy was born October 27, 1957 in Nevada, MO to Elmo L. and Hedwig L. (Lehmann) Pilcher, Sr.

     Leroy grew up in Milo and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School Class of 1975. Following high school, he attended auctioneering school.  Leroy worked several years for the Nevada Township on the road crew. He was an accomplished hunter, fisherman, sportsman, woodsman, and trapper, and also enjoyed mini pulling tractors.

     Survivors include two sons, Shaun Pilcher, and Aaron Pilcher; four sisters, Carion Rumans (Scott), Milo, MO, Malita Roby (Kent), Milo, MO, Mina Dresser (Daniel), Centerville, TN, Mary Spencer (Jim), Hume, MO; and numerous grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Gerdi Beaman, and one brother, Karl Lehmann, Sr.

     Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.  Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
