Garry Dunn

   Garry Joseph Dunn, 76, Nevada, MO, passed away following a brief illness on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Cox Barton County Hospital in Lamar, MO.   Garry was born on July 21, 1947 in Keokuk, IA to Joseph and Margaret (Arp) Dunn.  He married Sheila Logsdon on August 5, 1983.

    Garry graduated from Keokuk High School in 1965 and also attended Community College there.  He later graduated from Truman State University, Kirksville, MO with a bachelors degree in Education.  He worked for ADM for 17 years in Keokuk and served several schools in Missouri as a high school principal.  He retired to Nevada in 2018.

     Garry owned a Harley and enjoyed several road trips over the years with friends.   He attended First Baptist Church, Nevada.

     He is survived by his wife, Sheila, of the home; two daughters, April Seely (Josh), Washington, DC, and Brandi Ulery (Darren), Yakima, WA; two sons, Garry J. Dunn, II (Stephanie), Fayetteville, NC, and Richard Dunn, Nevada, MO; step-daughter, Beth Sieg (Nelson), Chamois, MO; step-son, David Saunders (Jessica), Kahoka, MO; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Janet Lorenz, Borger, TX; and brother, Richard Dunn, Ft. Madison, IA.
