Glen Allan Gazaway, 79, of Nevada, MO, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2026. Born on September 8, 1946, he proudly served in the United States Navy.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Glen had a zeal for life, loved spending time with his family, building and designing fun for all of them from model trains to teepees, horses, wagons and more.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Tina Gazaway. He is survived by his wife Judy of 60 years; his sons, Ricky Gazaway and wife Debbie, Danny Gazaway and wife Candace, and daughter, Toni Gazaway; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Graveside with Military Funeral Honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Pleasant View Cemetery in Garland, KS with Doug Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
Memorials are suggested in his name to the Vernon County Extension University of Missouri 4-H in c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
