Glenn R. Underwood passed away on March 9, 2026. A proud veteran of the United States Army, Glenn was a man of the outdoors who lived life with grit and craftsmanship.
Whether he was out hunting, fishing, or mudding, Glenn was never happier than when he was in the elements. He was a skilled woodworker and spent countless hours caring for his beloved ’68 Chevy truck. He also loved to breakdance, bringing his own unique energy to the things he enjoyed.
Glenn is survived by his three children: Brittani Ledbetter, Cody McDaniel, and Jacob Underwood; his father, Ray Underwood Sr.; and his siblings, Ray and Dianne Underwood, and Anna and David Martin. He was a proud grandfather to his many grandchildren and a great-grandfather to one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha McCartney.
In lieu of formal services, the family encourages you to head outdoors, cast a line, or take a drive in a classic truck in Glenn’s honor. His legacy will be remembered every time a fishing line hits the water, a classic engine roars to life, or a favorite song starts to play.
