Gregory Reedy

     Gregory Dale Reedy, 73, Nevada, MO passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Nevada Regional Medical Center. Greg was born April 11, 1951 in Nevada to Edward Jay and Betty Lou (Smith) Reedy. He married Kathleen Brown and from this marriage three children were born.

     Greg was raised on a dairy farm in El Dorado Springs. He graduated from El Dorado Springs High School Class of 1969. Greg was a truck driver for most of his life. For the past 20 years he has resided in Nevada.

      Survivors include his children, April Messer (Jason), Holland, MI, Jeff Reedy (Balynda Culbertson), Seneca, MO, and Jacque Cerny, Nevada, MO; numerous grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joe Reedy, Tiawan. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Edward Halcan; a daughter-in-law, Denice Reed; and a son-in-law, Chris Cerny.

     Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the Sheldon Baptist Church in Sheldon, MO with Dr. Jerod Lamb officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00-2:00p.m.   Inurnment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dederick, MO.
