Hazle Marie Green, 93, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada. Hazle was born on October 16, 1931 in Eldorado Springs, MO to Tommy and Hattie (Horning) Austin. She was married to Oscar Reedy and he preceded her in death in 1967. She was later married to Pat Green and he also preceded her in death. Hazle was raised in Vernon County and graduated from Walker High School in 1950. She worked at various places in Nevada including Key Work Clothes and the Nevada City Hospital.
Survivors include three children, Chester Reedy of Curryville, MO, Paul Reedy and his wife Donna of Nevada, and Carol Fleener of Hannible, MO. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her two husbands, Hazle was preceded in death by, her parents; four brothers, Clinton Austin, Dale Austin, Henry Austin, and Lee Austin; and one daughter, Debbie Garner.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Walker, MO with Pastor Dick Harris officiating. Friends may call from now and until noon on Saturday at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
