Jackie Halcomb

     Jacqueline Jean “Jackie” Halcomb, 66, Nevada, MO passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada. Jackie was born February 3, 1955 in Nevada to Thomas E. and Maxine (Scott) Halcomb.

     Jackie was raised on the family dairy farm near Deerfield, MO.  She attended school in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 1973. Throughout her life she worked in the nursing field as a nurse’s aide, and as an activities director. Jackie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and reading. She was very family oriented and was known for her loyalty to family and friends.

      Jackie is survived by her mother, Maxine Halcomb, and her sister Alice K. Halcomb, both of the home in Nevada; aunt and uncle Bernard and Velma Bobbett, El Dorado Springs, MO; numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.

     Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2021 at Deerfield Cemetery in Deerfield, MO with Pastor Terry Mosher officiating.
