James Andrew Legall, 53, Fortuna, MO, formally of Versailles, MO, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Jefferson City, MO. He was born on March 11, 1970 in Kansas City, MO to James Theodore and Constance Marie (Bearce) Legall. He married Michell Pabst on October 23, 2021 and she survives of the home.
James was raised in Independence and Blairstown, MO. He graduated from Sherwood High School in 1988. James was a truck driver most of his life and was currently driving for Versailles Tool Barn, LLC.
In addition to his wife, Michelle, he is survived by his mother, Constance, Versailles; step-son, Patrick Reyes of the home; an aunt, Nancy Croy, Versailles; step-mother, Pansy Legall, Blairstown, MO; step-brothers, Marty Watson, Clinton, MO, Kenny Watson, Clinton, and Bruce Watson, Quick City, MO. He was preceded in death by his father, James “Ted” Legall; a brother, Michael Aaron Legall; and grandparents Quincy & Mary Bearce.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Bluff Cemetery, Barton County, MO with Pastor Richard Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Crossroads Community Center, Versailles, MO.
