James Dylan Reiff

    James Dylan Reiff, 19, Nevada, MO passed from this life on Sunday, August 7, 2022 in Nevada. James, the son of James Lee Reiff and Susan Seitz was born December 28, 2002 in Pella, IA.

    James, a 2021 graduate of Nevada High School, worked with his father in the air conditioning and heating business for a number of years, and he has been employed at 3M Nevada for the past three months. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed riding motorcycles, target practicing, tinkering, and was a mister fixit guy. James especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

    James is survived by is father, James L. Reiff (Shauna Fairchild), Nevada; his bonus mother, Jennifer Austin (Rick Crooks), Nevada; brothers and sisters, Sara Reiff, Chantel Reiff, Dalton Austin, Tyler Fairchild, Devin Austin, Shelby Austin, Brianna Reiff, and Jenah Seydlitz; paternal grandmother, Georgia Gilkey (Fred), Rich Hill; maternal grandmother, Joanna Seitz, Nevada; god parent, Dylan Remenar, Belmont, N.H.;  uncle, Joshua Seitz; a special cousin, Trevor Reese;  other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many special friends.

     Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Chad Bailey officiating. A private family interment will follow in Coal Hill Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
