John Allen Driskill, Jr.

John Allen Driskill, age 84, Nevada, MO, passed away on March 29, 2026, at Medicalodges in Nevada. John was born April 26, 1941, in Linn County, KS to John Allen Driskill, Sr. and Zelma Jean (Dunavan) Driskill.

On August 6, 1964, he married Nancy Barker in Nevada, MO. They shared 54 years of marriage before she preceded him in death.

John proudly served his country as a Navy officer for four years, followed by four years in the reserves, and completed three tours in Vietnam. Professionally, he worked as a truck driver until his retirement from CFI. In his free time, John was a talented musician and an active member of the Nevada Fraternal Order of Eagles and the VFW.

He is survived by his sister, Sharron Bush; his in-laws, Fred and Shirley Rehkow; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a beloved husband, uncle, and friend.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Moore Cemetery in Nevada.
