John Edward Farris

     John Edward Farris, age 81, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 26, 2025.  He was born May 10, 1944, in Kansas City, MO to Alford Porter and Georgia Mae (Baugham) Farris.

     On May 20, 1998, he married Nancy Witt, in Kansas City, MO and they have shared the past 27 years together.  He was a truck driver for K&R Trucking as well as Hyman Trucklines. John enjoyed fishing and occasional hunting and loved doing yardwork.

     John is survived by his wife Nancy Farris of the home;; a daughter, Angela Underwood and her husband Ray, of Turney, MO; two step-sons, Thomas Morrow and his wife Melissa, of Excelsior Springs, MO and Josh Morrow and his wife Janice, of Kansas City, MO; a brother, Butch Farris and his wife Theresa of Sibley, MO and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Kelly Farris, two brothers, Ray Farris and Ben Farris and three sisters, Alice, Rose, and Olive.
