Justin J Goolsby

        Justin Jonathon Goolsby, 32, Nevada, MO died on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Nevada. Justin was born October 3, 1988 in Kissimmee, FL to Richard L. and Dana R. (Carlson) Goolsby.  

     Justin grew up in Kissimmee, FL. He attended school in St. Cloud, FL and later graduated from Nevada High School in 2007. He worked for Stutesman Construction, then worked in the oil fields, became a heavy equipment operator, then traveled and worked in the United States as a certified crane operator. Justin loved spending time with his family, traveling, and barbecue get togethers. He had a very giving personality, he loved and experienced life to the fullest. Justin also loved collecting and shooting guns, working on old Chevy trucks with his father, and playing video games. He will be dearly missed by all.

     He is survived by his fiance, Maria Morris, Nevada and her children, Jonathan, and Vaylora; a daughter, BriLynn Goolsby of Nevada; parents, Rick and Dana Goolsby; paternal grandfather, Jerald Goolsby of Nevada; maternal grandmother, Charlene Karnes of Nevada; brother, Derek Goolsby of Nevada; sister, Ashley Goolsby of Nevada; two nephews, John Logan Foreman, and Ridge McDaniel; a host of extended family and special friends.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Megan Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.
