Keith Gardner, 54, of Nevada, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and a community that will truly miss him.
Keith was a man who gave his heart to the people around him. He spent his life working hard in many different roles, construction, landscaping, retail, maintenance, and fast food, but no matter where he was, what mattered most to him was helping others. If something was broken, Keith was the one you called. If someone needed a hand, he was already on his way. He had a gift for building and fixing things, but more importantly, he had a gift for showing up when it mattered most.
He found joy in the simple, everyday moments, working with his hands, spending time with family, and rarely being seen without his favorite fountain drink, a Mountain Dew Code Red, in hand. Those little things will forever remind his loved ones of him.
Keith’s greatest pride and love was his family. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Gardner, who stood by his side, and his children, Sky Morris, Calynn Lynch, and Dayton Lynch, who carry forward his strength and spirit. He was a proud grandfather to Braelynn, Ellie, and Emery, who brought him endless happiness and joy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Michelene Stewart.
Keith will be remembered for his kindness, his willingness to help anyone in need, and the love he gave so freely. The world feels a little quieter without him, but his memory will live on in every project he built, every life he touched, and every story shared by those who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14th from 3:00-5:00 pm at Ferry Funeral Home. Though he may be gone, Keith’s love and legacy will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
