Larry Keim Obituary

     Larry Lee Keim, 74, Harwood, MO passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, MO. Larry was born October 11, 1945 in Tacoma, WA to Linfield L. and Mary E. (Lee) Keim. He was united in marriage to Sharon Jones on July 2, 1968 and she survives of the home.

     Larry graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1963. Following high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served four years. After being honorably discharged Larry transferred to the Army National Guard serving an additional 20 years before retiring. Larry was a truck driver, then worked for FRAM as a skilled laborer retiring after 20 years of service.  Larry liked to hunt, fish, work on computers, and watch NASCAR on TV, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family. 

     In addition to his wife Sharon, he is survived by one daughter, Dawn Keim of the home; and one son, Richard Keim, Nevada; two grandsons, Brandon and Alex; two granddaughters, Samantha and Brittany; one great-granddaughter, Holden; one brother, Bill Keim, Kansas City, MO; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Ramage; and a brother, George Keim.

       A graveside committal with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dederick, MO with Alvin Mast officiating.
