Lorene Roberts, 92, Bronaugh, MO, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Medicalodges of Ft. Scott, KS. Lorene was born on May 6, 1932, in Wilburton, OK, to David & Jewell (Cook) Curnutt.
Lorene was raised in Oklahoma and graduated with the Pryor High School class of 1951. She was married to Alvin Goodman and later married to Alan Roberts, Moundville and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Nevada.
Lorene was a homemaker and also worked as a cook at several nursing homes and for the Nevada School District. She loved crocheting, gardening, canning, but most of all, loved her church.
Survivors include her son, Patrick Roberts (Debbie), San Antonio, TX; daughters, Connie Pryor, Redfield, KS, Marilyn Hill (David), Ft. Scott, KS, Jan Washington (Tony), Arma, KS, and Sherrie Bruner, Pittsburg, KS; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; twin sister, Paula Millyard, Aurora, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; sons Rusty Goodman and Ronnie Goodman; daughter Valerie Fanning; 3 stepchildren; brother, Floyd Curnutt, and sister, Lillian Bagwell.
Funeral services will be at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Pastor Dennis Mix officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery, Nevada, MO. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00p.m., Monday, June 17 at the funeral home.
