Lori Harms Obituary

Lori Jean Harms passed away unexpectedly at her home in Nevada, Missouri on November 5, 2020 at age of 54. She has joined the Lord and her beloved mother, Linda in her heavenly home. Lori was born May 9, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri to Dr. James F. & Linda K. (Nicholson) Harms.

Lori grew up in Nevada and delighted in playing sports with her friends and caring for her many pet dogs. She attended Nevada schools where she participated in basketball and tennis.  She was incredibly talented in the weight room, on the tennis court, softball field and basketball court. In her younger years, she won 1st place at a national weightlifting tournament. Lori loved staying active and fit by weightlifting at the YMCA on a regular basis. Lori worked many years at Quality Products and was proud of the work she did. Family and friends were extremely important to Lori and anyone who knew Lori, knew they were genuinely loved by her and that her laugh could brighten up an entire room. Her loving spirit and unforgettable laugh will carry on with us in our hearts forever.

Lori is survived by her father, Dr. James F. Harms; brother, David Harms; sister, Danielle Harms; stepsister, Leslie Hernandez; nephew, Logan Harms (Brittany); niece, Madison Harms-Harper (Haden); great niece and nephew Carsyn and Cohen Harms; and extended family members and close friends whom loved her dearly.
