Margie Fisher Obituary

      Margie Sue Fisher 90 died Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Medicalodges in Butler, MO. She was the 6th of 9 children born to Leslie and Myrtle Gowin on July 11, 1929, in Walker, MO. Margie married Louie Dulier in 1946. To this union, 5 children were born. After Louie passed in 1961, she married Carl Fisher in 1964. To this union, 4 children were born. Carl passed in 1978 and Margie would remain an unmarried widow for the last 42 years of her life.

     Margie is survived by 7 of her 9 children; Louie Dulier (Marci) of Liberty, MO, Shirley Mayse (Jim) of Deland, Fl, Linda Freeman (Dale) of Warsaw, MO, Carles Fisher of Nevada, MO, Christie Muehlenbacher (Greg) of St Joseph, MO, Caroll Fisher (Kelly) of Independence, MO and Cindy Limpus (Barry) of Amsterdam, MO. 14 grandchildren; Jamie, Melissa, Traci, Angel, Jacque, Matthew, Joshua, Seth, Jozie, Justein, Adrean, Adones, Alyrek, and Logan. 20 Great Grandchildren; Madi, Jason, Colton, Noel, Gavin, Aiden, Mason, Marcie, Gloria, Dyson, Lucien, Anson, Jaxsen, Ashley, Javen, Lilly, Connor, Cory, River, and Jaylah.  2 Great, Great Grandchildren; Beckem and Kaius.

     Margie was predeceased by her parents, and all of her siblings; Fern, Frances, Glenn, Lucille, John, Leslie, William and Robert; a stillborn infant son  in 1947 and son Frank in 2014, one grandson Stacy in 1969 and a great granddaughter Mela in 2011. Margie had a total of 47 descendants at the time of her death, 43 of whom are still living.

     Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park in Nevada where she will be laid to rest next to her 1st husband Louie and her son Frank.  The family will receive friends at 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the service.   

      Due to the risk of COVID 19 Virus, masks are recommended and will be available. 

     Memorials are suggested in her memory to Children’s Mercy Hospital c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
