Martha Ann (Jones) Keithly, formerly of Nevada, Missouri, peacefully left this world for Heaven on May 3, 2026. She was born on March 23, 1937, to Adam and Hazel West Jones. Martha graduated from Nevada High School in 1956. She married Donald Edward Keithly in 1956.
Martha was well known in Nevada for her upholstery work, which she did for many years. She also worked at JH Collectibles as a presser for 16 years, and with Cottey College Food Service until 2001, when she moved to Huffman, Texas to live near her sons and their families. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was a game of Yahtzee with the kids! In 2021, Martha moved to Evergreen, Colorado, where she lived until her passing.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Keithly; her parents, Adam and Hazel West Jones; her four brothers: Ervin, Adam, Roy, and Jerry Jones; and her four sisters: Wanda Bowen, Opal Barnes, Joy Neely and Wilma Williams.
She is survived by her sons, Michael and his wife Judy of Crosby, Texas; Douglas and his wife Kathy of Evergreen, Colorado; Her grandchildren, Adam Keithly (Elizabeth), Copperas Cove, TX; Anne Keithly, Houston, TX; Andrew Keithly (Allison), Timnath, CO; Erich Keithly, Parker, CO; and Scott Keithly (Rebecca), Commerce City, CO; and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Pauletta (Jack) Lechman; many wonderful nieces and nephews; beloved cousins Donna Pettibon and her husband Clifford, and Mae Smith; also, her special high school friend, Hazel Wilson.
Martha will be laid to rest beside her husband at Moore Cemetery in Nevada, MO.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 10th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, MO. A graveside service will be held at Moore Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 11.
