Mary Ellen (Brundidge) Burnham

     Mary Ellen Burnham, 76, Nevada, MO passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Nevada Nursing and Rehab in Nevada.   Mary was born November 12, 1942 in Nevada, Missouri to Floyd Melvin and Ola Pearl (Roberts) Brundidge.

     Mary was a lifelong resident and attended Nevada Schools. At the age of 16 she went to work at Key Work Clothes in Nevada, and for a time she also worked at Nevada City Hospital, and Mill Tech. Mary retired from Key Work Clothes in 1997.  She was a seamstress all of her life. Mary was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Nevada.

     She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Roberts, Lockwood, MO; one son, Bruce Burnham, Lockwood, MO; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Wilson, Nevada; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Helen Rothenberger, and Elain Birks.

     Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Nevada.  Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park in Nevada. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Ferry Funeral Home.
