Mary Ann Kern

     Mary Ann Kern, age 80, of Drexel, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

     Mary was born September 10. 1943 in Rich Hill, MO to John F. and Ida Elizabeth (Gamble) Luther.  She was a graduate of Appleton City High School and had worked as a nurse’s aide in hospitals and nursing homes.  In 2010 she married John W. Kern, and he survives of the home.  She enjoyed her flower garden and dancing, which is where she met her husband, John.

     In addition to her husband John Kern, she leaves behind a sister, Ruby, of El Dorado Springs, MO.  Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Rosie and Ada; and two brothers, Johnny and Bobby “Junior”.

     There will be a private family service.
