Mary Pilcher Obituary

      Mary Lou Pilcher, 77, Sheldon MO passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada following a lengthy illness.  Mary Lou was born June 17, 1943 in Nevada, MO to Ralph and Mildred Ragan.  She married Thomas Pilcher on January 26, 1964 in Nevada, MO and he survives of the home in Sheldon.

     Mary Lou grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 1962.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, sewing, puzzle books, and working with her flowers.  She was a member of the Sheldon Baptist Church.

    In addition to her husband, Tom, Mary Lou is survived by 4 children; Mary Louise Driver, Nevada, MO, Thomas Lee Pilcher, Jr. (Tish), Rich Hill, MO, Donald Pilcher (Tara), Sheldon, MO, Tammy Burton (Thomas), North Carolina; 6 grandchildren; Marissa, Samantha, Dierdra, Kimberly, Cody, and Elliott; and 2 great grandchildren.   She is also survived by her mother, Mildred Ellifrits, Kansas City, MO; 2 sisters. Wanda Hawkins (Mike), Belton, MO and Nancy Smith, Bronaugh, MO; and 1 brother, David Ellifrits, Kansas City, MO; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.

     Services for Mary Lou Pilcher will be at Ferry Funeral Home on Monday, Jan. 11, 2021 at 10:30a.m.   Private interment will follow at Newton Burial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association in c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
