Michael Wayne Jacks

     Michael Wayne Jacks, age 58, of Nevada, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

     Michael was born in Nevada, MO on September 19, 1967, to William D. and Norma Marie (Bush) Jacks and grew up in Nevada, where he graduated from Nevada High School.  He had worked at Key Industries as a supervisor and also raised cattle.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing, but playing with his grandkids gave him the most joy.

     Michael leaves behind a son, Quinton Jacks and his wife, Darian, of Nevada, MO; a brother, Bill Jacks and his wife Debbie, Nevada, MO; two sisters, Billie Tyree, Joplin, MO and Terry Braddock (Gary), Arlington, TX; three grandchildren, Kooper Jacks, Jaxson Dilbeck, and Lydia Dilbeck; and an aunt, Dee Jacks, Metz, MO.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Danny Jacks.

     Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, MO with Jason Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in Balltown Cemetery in Horton, MO.
