Nancy Lianne Widener

     Nancy Lianne (Hutton) Widener, 50,  of Nevada, MO passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, in Nevada.  Nancy was born on April 26, 1975, in El Dorado Springs, MO to William David Hutton and Judith (Jenkins) Hutton. 

     Nancy attended Nevada schools. From the time Nancy was little she lived life to its fullest.  She loved riding and showing horses, rodeos, crafting, and spending time with friends and family.  She loved to have cookouts and have everyone over to eat.  Her favorite passion was spending time with her grandchildren. 

      Nancy is survived by her daughter, Taylor L. Charles of Walker, MO, and her son, Colby L. Charles of Farmington, MO; four grandchildren: Weston Lane Charles, Paisley Rose Jane Charles, Baylee Lea Charles, and Victoria Charles; her mother, Judith (Ron) Herstein; her father, David Hutton, Kansas City, MO; sister, Stacey (Ken) Pursley; step siblings, Jason (Angel) Herstein, Lees Summit, MO, Dana (Paul) Lindberg, Olathe, KS;  aunts, Janet Clark, Mission KS, and Juanita (David) Patterson, Overland Park KS.  She also had several nieces, nephews, and friends.   Her passing was preceded by the deaths of her daughter, Ali Jane Charles, as well as her grandparents: Patricia Ann Jenkins, George M. Rollo, and Vernon & Virginia Hutton.

      Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Rev. Jerod Lamb officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. prior to the service.  A  private burial ceremony will be held at a future date.   

      Those who wish may contribute in Nancy’s name to the American Diabetes Association or the Nevada  Regional Medical Center Foundation.
