Pamela Suzanne Huffman

 Pamela S. (Beisner) Huffman, 59, joined our Lord in heaven March 31st, 2025 at El Dorado Springs Residential Care Facility following a brief illness.  Pam was born July 7th, 1965 in Joplin, Missouri to Gerald H. Beisner and T. Sue (Newton) Beisner.

Pam attended Nevada Schools through the 11th grade at which time she chose to pursue her passion of dance by attending and graduating from the National Academy of Arts in Urbana-Champaigne Illinois.  She later attended the School of Dance at the University of Utah.  Pam loved dance and specifically ballet. She trained extensively in the “En pointe” technique.  She was invited and attended  2 summer sessions at Ballet West in Snowmass, Colorado.

She worked in retail but ultimately found her passion as a homemaker and mother.  She enjoyed attending and watching her children’s sporting events.  One of the most exciting days in the past year was learning she was going to become a grandmother and she felt such joy when she was able to meet and hold Reid Alan.

Pam is survived by two children, Jared A. Huffman (Meredith), Celina, Texas and Tessa P. Huffman (fiancé Sonny), Dallas, Texas.  One Grandson, Reid Alan Huffman, Celina Texas; Father, Jerry Beisner (Jaxcene) El Dorado Springs, MO, one brother, Mike Beisner (Christi) Nevada, MO; Uncle, Tom Beisner Joplin, MO and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.   She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Beisner, sister, Cathy Baker and her maternal and paternal grandparents. 

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Rev. Brent Bland officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice or the ElDorado Springs Residential Care Facility in c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
