Patricia Joan Hargrove

Patricia Joan Hargrove 89, Humansville, MO, formerly of Nevada, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Big Springs Care Center in Humansville following a brief period of illness. Patricia was born December 12, 1928 in Nevada, MO, the daughter of Walter Everett and Della Mae (Smith) Evans. She married Charles Hargrove August 16, 1948 and he preceded her in death on August 31, 2018.

Patricia was born and raised in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 1947. She lived and worked in Kansas City for thirteen years before moving to Clinton, MO where she worked as the secretary for the Clinton School District Superintendent. She and Charles came back to Nevada in 1986 and the couple enjoyed traveling together for many years.

Survivors include, son, Terre Hargrove and wife Barbara, Osceola, MO; three grandchildren, Tami Thomas and Marvin Hold, Deerfield, MO, Jon Hargrove and his wife Jessica Archie, MO, James Hargrove and his wife Amanda, Milo, MO; twelve great-grandchildren; Heather Thomas, Taylor Dilly, Colton Thomas, Shane Hargrove, Jonna Hargrove, Alta Hargrove, Pete Hargrove, Leea Hargrove, Alexis Jacobs, Kinlee Ihde, Cameron Hargrove, and Dillon Hargrove; three great-great-grandchildren: Abigail, Teddy, and Isabell; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to her husband Charles, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucille Boundy, Gail Hoge, Mary Emery; and one brother, Walter Everett Evans, Jr.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
