Patricia Ann Hope

 Patricia Ann Hope, 91, of Bronaugh, MO, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Kingswood Senior Living Center in Kansas City, MO. Patricia was born in Deerfield, MO, on Oct. 9, 1933, to Hollis and Maxine Allen. She graduated from Bronaugh High School in 1951. On Aug.1, 1950, she was married in Nevada to Everett Ruben Hope, who preceded her in death in 2009.

Patricia spent most of her life serving alongside her husband on their farm. She also devoted herself to volunteering in the community with organizations such as the American Red Cross and as a Pink Lady at Nevada Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed hosting others, decorating cakes, playing dominoes with friends, and spending time with her family. Patricia was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nevada and participated in their choir, as well as the women’s Bible study group.

Survivors include one daughter, Debby Patton, of Grandview, MO; like a daughter, Ronda Bailey and her husband Roger, of Forst Scott, KS; daughter-in-law, Judy Hope, of Versailles, MO; four grandchildren, David Hope and his wife Amanda, of Versailles, MO, Miranda Steffen and her husband Mike, of Kansas City, MO, Kayla Roberts and her husband Ryan of Peculiar, MO, and Taylor Bailey of Fort Scott, KS; eight great-grandchildren, Matthew, Krista, and Kyle, of Versailles, MO, Melody, McKenna, and Mae Steffen of Kansas City, MO, and Lexi and Tucker of Peculiar, MO; one brother, Tom Allen of Nixa, MO, and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Hope, her son, Leroy Hope, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, May 15 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will follow in the Worsley Cemetery, Bronaugh. The family will receive friends from 10-11am at the funeral home prior to the service.
