Randy Jo Wiegel

    Randy Wiegel, 64, of Schell City, MO, passed away on April 17, 2025, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO.  Randy was born on March 2, 1961, in Sheldon, MO, to John and LaVera (Kortmann) Wiegel.   

     Randy was raised in rural Vernon County and attended Nevada Schools, graduating in the NHS Class of 1979.  He had lived in Schell City for the past 9 years.  Randy worked at the Harwood Grain Elevators for 18 years.  He also worked for Roger Dade Pallet Company, Schmidt Hog Barn and Foam FAB in El Dorado Springs for a number of years until retirement. 

     Randy is survived by a daughter, Dawn Crockett (Dylan Sweeney), Lamar, MO; grandchildren, Shay Sweeney, Kage Crockett, Sonny Sweeney, and Saige Sweeney; 2 sisters and 2 brothers, Linda Carpenter (Bob), El Dorado Springs, MO, John Wiegel (Evelyn), rural Vernon County, Anita Amick (Ron), rural Vernon County, and Richard Wiegel, House Springs, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald Wiegel; sister and brother-in-law, Jolene and Lewis Carter; and sister,

Faylene Shephers.

    A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
