Richard Eugene Mosley

      Richard Eugene Mosley, 83, formerly of Lamar, MO, passed away on Tuesday May 9, 2023 at his home in Nevada, MO. Richard was born December 10, 1939 in Omega, KS to George W. and Delka O. (Bills) Mosley. On November 23, 1994 he married Connie Hare and she survives of the home.

     Richard spent most of his childhood in Dayton, MO, and Garden City, MO. Throughout his life he worked several places including O’Sullivan Industries in Lamar for 17 years, General Motors in Kansas City for 14, years, he lived in Montana and worked at the State Hospital for five years, he moved to Texas and worked at Horseshoe Bay Resort for five years, and the LBJ State Park for an additional five years until his retirement. Richard moved to Nevada in 2022.

     In addition to his wife, Connie, he is survived by seven children: Jimmie Mosley (Sherrie), Bakersville, NC, Tom Morgan (Renee), Kingsland, TX, Donnie Mosley (Brenda), Pleasant Hill, MO, Rhonda Mosley, Exeter, MO, Tina Mosley, Serena Mosley, Bob Mosley (Maryette), Lewistown, MT; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, two brothers and two sisters.

     A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 22 @ 1:30 p.m. at Marmaduke Park in Nevada.
