Rick Parker

     Rick Anthony Parker, 65, Nevada, MO passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2025, at his home in Nevada, MO. Rick was born October 27, 1959, in Castro Valley, CA to Loren D. and Mary Marie (McLelland) Parker, Jr.

     Rick was raised in California and graduated from Castro Valley High School.  He resided in Nevada for the past 25 years.  He enjoyed fishing, attending ball games and listening to all sports on the radio and tv.  He was an avid fan of the Chiefs, 49ers, Cardinals, Royals and St Louis Blue Hounds.  He also enjoyed attending the Missouri State Fair.

     Rick is survived by his mother, Marie Parker, Castro Valley CA; two brothers, Trace Parker, CA and Michael Parker, CA; long time friend and caretaker, Bobbie McIntire, Nevada, MO. He was preceded in death by his father.

     Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, February 17 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Terry Mosher officiating. Friends may call from 1:30-2:30, prior to the funeral. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in Milo, Missouri

     Rick was a special person who appreciated all of those who cared for him throughout the years.
